2014, Camp Week3

Another year of camp is over. We are in Awe of all that God has done.  This week had a record attendance for the region of 98 campers, with 26 coming to Christ.  PTL!

So let me recap Camp in numbers, not for my own praise but to Praise God. We are in humble awe at all that the Lord has done in and through us this past month.  All of the teachers are just thrilled to have been part of such an awesome work!

June 5- 27, 2014

3 different weeks of camps in 3 different regions in 3 host different host churches

35 staff members, 6 assistants, and 75 or so helpers in the kitchens from each of our host villages

Our head Deacon, Sopa, cooked over 2,000 maandazi (donut/fried bread) for our tea times, almost 40 huge pots of Ugali…

350 campers (setting records in two different regions) from 36 different local churches

Each student went through 17 Bible studies/lessons/services each week.

I taught 16 different Chapel services

Hundreds of different choruses and choir songs

And most importantly – 113 coming to know the Lord!

Praise the Lord for all that He has done!

Here’s some extra pictures from week 3 in Lyanza.
