Camp Week 3

This week we had 9 white campers take part in Camp - missionary kids and
their guests from the US. For some of them it was their first time to eat
the local food - Ugali.

We sing A LOT at camp. Between every even we sing and dance. During this
song, the guys that were singing bass really got into their part!

This week we were in the Rukwa Valley in the village of Kapenta. It was
a lot wamer down there. We were thankful the for the garden near the church
where we had lots of shady places to rest and do Bible Studies.

My codirector for the past three summers has been Pastor Uziel Machelela.
He does a wonderful job, we work as a team. Next year he won't be able to
help because he is going to High school and he will be taking government
exams. He will be missed.

I am thankful for Baba Jestina. He is our camp Deacon. He travels with
us to each camp and makes sure the meals are always on time and that the
food is used well. It's wonderful to have a great team of national staff.
