Safari - Katavi Nat'l Park

Katavi Nat'l Park is just north of Sumbawanga, only a few hours from where I live. When I have guests from the States, we try to take them to a game park, this year I decided to try this park out. We had a great time. Yes, there were tsetse flies, but there were more varieties of antelope than I have ever seen before. Here are a few highlights of our trip. I'm pretty sure that most of the animals will be self explanatory.
Going through a game park is always a reminder of how creative and wonderful out God is!

Jessica tried out an elephant footprint for size!

This one is a Topi.

This is a cape buffalo.

This is an impala. They are seen in every park and often in large herds.
