Pastor’s Seminar 2016

  More than a year ago the conversations began, “We should do another pastor’s conference for pastors and their wives. They need encouragement and reminding of strong theology.”  This meant finding great teachers to come and help out. This mean finding funds to help transport pastors and their wives from all over Tanzania. This meant organizing and hosting and translating.

  Praise the Lord! What began as an idea in a conversation with a Tanzanian church leaders came to fruition last week.  God answered prayers and opened doors.  Various churches and individuals helped to sponsor this event. Two pastors from the States can to bring sound teaching. One pastor’s wife came to encourage the women. Much to my joy, this team included my mom and dad.  Coworkers came together to help host and translate for them.  National leaders planned the food and lodging and transport for Tanzanian pastors and their wives.  In the end the Lord encouraged us all.

  

  We had well over than 100 in attendance. We were also able to gather a team of musician who are students of our Worship Seminars. They lead worship and encouraged everyone.

 

  Although the roads were quite messy because of hard rains, we travelled back and for the 26 miles each day.  It was a blessing for the missionaries to visit with our guests as well.
