Camp Week 2–Tamasenga

What a full and blessed week of camp! We had 151 campers of whom 20 came to Christ.  We had so many times when the questions they asked about the Word took more time than was available and we’d promise to answer the next questions in a later session.  I’m thankful for a wonderful team of counselors and so many from our host church pitching in.

Did you know that we teach about Communion each Friday and then one of the pastors on our team leads the kids in communion.  It is special and a first for many campers.  We were creative in finding supplies for this—film canisters, medicine cups, and regular communion glasses.  We had enough.

We are thankful for the village chief allowing us to use the village “go-down” (a big metal building used to store crops and for village meetings. we would not have been able to fit in the church building.
