Leadership Training

SAM_0939  The past couple days have been full.  We have many ministries each year, but this is one of the most important.  We work with about 70 churches. These churches are divided into regions and centres.  This is all to help the church government work well.  I advise the Youth Department of these churches.  We have Youth leadership in regions and centres.  They are responsible to make sure ministries happen in local churches.

SAM_0940   There are often changes in leaders as people are shifted into new positions in other areas in the church.  This means that we need to constantly train the new leaders and remind old leaders of their jobs.  So on Thursday we met with these leaders. We had a great time teaching them how to work with pastors and elders and how to train Youth Teachers in our local churches.

This group was full of questions and excited about it all. It is great to teach a group of students who are excited to learn.  Our day was quite long but blessed.

The men will now go home and seek how to visit churches and encourage those who teach Youth in their local churches.  They have their work cut out for them.  Please pray for them.  Sometimes one of the hardest things about their job is working with church leaders.  To teach an old dog new tricks is difficult.

I am thankful for the Executive Committee that I work with. We share a vision and a heart to serve.  We worked together to teach the seminar and host these teachers.  We have planned and set up schedules  for our upcoming year of ministries.  How blessed I am to work with these pastors.
