Katavi Nat’l Park

Gearing up for the Worship Seminar with many of my fellow missionaries and a team from the US.  We decided before the seminar to go to a game park with our guests.  We packed 23 of us into three landcruisers.

Katavi has more antelope varieties than many other parks that I’ve been to and probably more Hippos than almost any other park.  It was a drought this year so the river bed was really low and the hippos were crammed into the water that remained.  There is still more water in the wetland areas of the park.

This is the same giraffe. Hanging out by the park’s airstrip.
