We spent our third week of camp in the fishing village of Kinambo in the Rukwa Valley. we live at nearly 7,000 feet elevation in Mumba, but just below us is the village of Kinambo which is more than 4,000 ft lower.
As you can see us gathering outside of the church here, but up on the mountain ridge is where I live. It took three and one half hours to drive there even though it is just over the hill!
This year we had three young people from the USA to help us. What a great group they were! If anyone ever wants to come and join us for a short term mission trip these guys will tell you all about how much fun it is! It was also my pleasure to have my little brother along this year!
After three weeks they made friends with their translators, the Tanzanian staff, and many campers!
