marriage camp '09 -- week 2

This week we held marriage camp in a young church in the village of Ngoma. As you can see they have recently built their place of worship, but still have not finished the windows and doors. A small church must take things one step at a time. I pray that camp was a testimony to the village and an encouragement to this congregation.

Although Marriage camps are put on by the Youth Department of the national church, we allow people of all ages to attend. As you can see we had some grandparents join us. Sometimes their energy put the young people to shame!

One of the games that we play at camp is to see if you can recognize your spouse's feet!
This is a ton of fun, as you can see the women laughing as they look at the various feet pass by, then you have to greet the one that you think is your spouse with a hug as soon as they walk out from behind the curtain. With anticipation they await their spouse's number to be called and then if it is the right man, they run to embrace him!
