On August 13-16, we held the first ever Marriage camp. It was a lot of fun!
This is Baba and Mama Edaya and their son Reuben. They are singing a chorus at a gathering time. If you notice they have their legs tied together as part of a game which we played at marriage camp. This week Mama Edaya almost didn't come to camp because she started feeling sick the day they were to leave. Her husband tried to come alone and we sent him home to bring his wife. They arrived the next day and the following day Mama Edaya received Christ as her Saviour. Satan tried to hinder her, but in the end the Lord reigned!
One of the games we played at camp had the men act as their wives' arms while getting them ready for the morning. They are getting practice being arms before the game start. They had to put a shirt on, brush her teeth, give her her morning tea, and tie a head wrap on her head. In the next picture you can see the men practicing their head-wrap-tying skills before the game.
